Monument Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to welcome the Whit Harvey Group to the company’s Ruxton Office. The Whit Harvey Group has always been an extraordinary resource for both buyers and sellers in the Baltimore area, and the team prides itself on providing the best service for their clients. Monument Sotheby’s International Realty is the perfect fit as they continue in the Evolution of Extraordinary.
The company continues to attract top talent and high performers, and as part of the full-service brokerage affiliated with Monument Sotheby’s International Realty, the group will continue to provide their clients the best of both worlds: local expertise with global connections.
Whit Harvey began his real estate career in 1981 with James Piper of Piper and Company. Whit remained at the company through a series of mergers which later became O’Connor, Piper and Flynn then Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
“The Sotheby’s International Realty name has always been connected with high quality. Clients have entrusted their most treasured possessions to the auction house since 1744. It makes sense that Monument Sotheby’s International Realty would show the same care with a client’s most treasured possession – their home. As one of the fastest growing brokerage firms in the United States as recognized by REAL Trends 2018 ‘Up and Comers’, MSIR seemed like the perfect next step in our evolution,” says Whit Harvey.
“Every client’s home is special to us because it is special to them. Monument Sotheby’s International Realty represents homes across a range of prices, and each one is treated in the same careful way,” says Whit Harvey. “At the Whit Harvey Group, we have always wanted our clients to think of us as their ‘Realtors for Life.’ We have worked with many of our clients from purchasing their very first starter home to selling their last one and moving to a retirement community. And now we are working with their children who are just starting the journey of home ownership. To us, the Monument Sotheby’s name not only represents the quality of the listings but the quality of the listing agent.”
“We are all very excited about the move. Kimberly Roberts, Carter Harvey and I look forward to working with agents in the Ruxton office, as well those in the other Monument Sotheby’s offices. In addition to the lovely offices, the engagement with the community is significant. Hosting an opening reception for the local students, residents, and agents with the artwork created by Gilman School students is inspiring. Giving the student artists the opportunity to meet, mingle and experience the excitement of seeing their work displayed during a gallery opening encourages them to continue through all aspiration’s life may bring their way,” says Whit. “The Whit Harvey group will be one of the first to experience the implementation of a gallery at the Ruxton office. With new artists featured monthly, involvement is encouraged as everyone is invited to the opening receptions as the doors are opened to the community.”
“We tell our clients, that along with the same attention to detail and caring consideration that they have come to expect from the Whit Harvey Group, the team is newly energized and ready to take it to the next level with Monument Sotheby’s International Realty. Go, team!”
“We are over the moon the Whit Harvey Group has made a decision to add to their influence with our Monument Sotheby’s International Realty partnership,” says Kimberly Kepnes, Vice President of Development at Monument Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Our professional standards and business philosophies are aligned which adds strength to each of our organizations and sends a powerful message to all the communities we serve.”
