Robert Bagdon

Bob enjoys over 50 years of successful entrepreneurial industry experience working directly with clients in the planning, construction and/or sale of their dream homes. His resume’ includes significant time as a wholesale and retail building products distributor, high end residential contractor, property manager for prime locations, and Real Estate Broker. He’s worked in one or more of those disciplines in Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts and New Jersey over the span of his career. His integrity, industry knowledge, attention to detail and demand for quality has earned him a large client network in these markets. \r

Bob was an owner and operator of Chesapeake Bay Materials, LTD, a lumber yard and hardware store in Arnold, MD supplying residential building materials, and constructing homes in the Maryland market in the 70’s and early 80’s. Later, he and his wife, Ann owned and operated Prestige Construction Corp and Prestige Homecare in the Metro West Boston Market for nearly 25 years before moving to Florida in 2007. They quickly earned their Florida real estate licenses and Broker Licenses. Then together, opened Distinguished Homes Realty in Palm Coast where they specialized in high end residential sales in the Hammock communities. \r

Bob and Ann are now spending more time with their growing family in Annapolis, so they have joined the Monument Sotheby’s team here in MD, sharing time and markets with First Coast Sotheby’s in Palm Coast, FL. This will allow them to reconnect and work with many Maryland friends who are moving south for vacation homes or retirement. \r

Bob has earned ABR, SFR, SRS, BPOR, CDPE, and CIAS real estate certifications along with his active Maryland and Florida Broker licenses. He also holds a (now inactive) Massachusetts Residential Contractor’s License. He studied at the University of Baltimore. \r

Bob, Ann, and their Springer Spaniel, Luke, stay on the Chesapeake with their daughter when here in Maryland. They reside in the Hammock Dunes community of Island Estates in Palm Coast when in Florida. \r
