Eva Rotolo I Monument Sotheby’s International Realty I Art Gallery Event
May 19 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Monument Sothebys International Realty would love to invite you for a night of Art and Home featuring the wonderful artsy of Eva Rotolo!
“I paint to express and preserve my reaction to the beauty in the world around me.”
Eva has been interested in art since she was a young girl. Her earliest formal art classes began at the Corcoran School of Art in DC. She continued her education by later earning degrees from Georgetown University and The Cleveland Institute of Art in both Fine Arts and Graphic Design. Her occupation as an Art Director for an international packaging company in NC was rewarding until her move to Baltimore. She was encouraged to return to painting after raising her two daughters.
Eva has since studied and attended workshops with many well-respected artists, including Scott Christensen, Matt Smith, Kenn Backhaus, Jill Carver, Larry Moore, John Sills, Matt Zoll, and Carol Thompson. She has been juried into and a finalist in several exhibitions, including the prestigious ARC (Art Renewer Center) Salon and NOAPS Best of America.
Traveling locally and internationally provides an endless source of inspiration for her subject matter. Photography is also a passion that she uses to capture the moment, though the feeling she tries to express and preserve in the studio. Recently Eva has developed an interest plein air painting.
Eva is a member of NOAPS, OPA, MAPAPA, Miniature Painters, Sculptors, and Engravers Society of Washington, DC.
